Activities on Princeville Ranch

Since Kauai Waterfall Cottage borders Princeville Ranch, you might want to try a few of the activities offered in your backyard! All tours described below are run on the private lands of Princeville Ranch-not public areas. This guarantees that you will enjoy the natural, pristine beauty of the outdoors that is not crowed with other visitors. It's just the folks in your group and a guide(s). All groups are kept small for everyone's enjoyment. No experience is necessary on any of the tours we offer. Below is a brief description of each tour offered.


KAYAKING
The "Jungle Waterfall Kayak Adventure" is an easy tour perfect for ages 5-85. A perfect combination of hiking and kayaking on a peaceful mountain stream, with an hour at a twin waterfall swimming, floating on inner tubes, and having lunch.

HIKING
Our "Waterfall Excursion" hike is a multi-waterfall experience. Three hours of hiking (total) and time spent at a 100-ft. waterfall (where lunch is served) and yet another deep waterfall swim hole for jumping and diving. Moderate hiking (not easy, but not strenuous). Unbelievable views! Ages 5 & older welcome.

ZIPLINING
Our newest adventure! The "Zip n' Dip Expedition" is for anyone 12 and older and between 80 and 280 lbs. It is a combination of 8 ziplines, 1 suspension bridge, and ends up at an awesome waterfall swim hole for lunch, diving, jumping, and floating around on inner tubes. An experience of a lifetime!

HORSEBACK RIDING TOURS
A horseback riding outfit like no other! Respect and care of the horses and the safety of our guests is our top priorities. Rides vary in length and location. The "Waterfall Swim Picnic" ride is unforgettable. Come ride the range with us!

HORSEMANSHIP LESSONS

DISCOUNTS FOR OUR GUESTS
Guests staying at Kauai Waterfall Cottage receive a 15% discount on any tours offered on Princeville Ranch (must be a direct booking only-not through a concierge of a hotel or an activity desk). Just call the numbers on the brochures in the cottage for reservations, and mention that you are staying at "David & Denise's Guest Cottage" and that you would like the 15% discount. Tours fill up quickly so booking when you arrive is highly recommended.
